01 - Acceptance of Terms

This website is operated by Ask4Chem LLC. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Ask4Chem. The services that Ask4Chem provides to you are subject to the following Terms of Use (TOU). Ask4Chem reserves the right to update and modify the TOU at any time without notice. The most current version of the TOU can be accessed by clicking on the “Terms of Use” hypertext link located at the bottom of our Web pages. When we make updates to the TOU, Ask4Chem will update the date at the top of this page. By using the website after a new version of the TOU has been posted, your active use signifies that you agree to the new terms.

Through its network of Web properties, Ask4Chem provides you with access to a variety of resources, including videos, quizzes, handouts, communication forums, online tutoring, in-person tutoring and product information (collectively, “Services”). The services subject to these TOU include any updates, enhancements, new features, and/or the addition of any new Web properties. 

03 - Personal and Non-commercial Use Limitation

Unless otherwise specified, the Services are for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from these Services.

04 - Content

All content included in or made available through the Services, such as text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sounds, music, digital downloads, data compilation, software, and documents, is the exclusive property of Ask4Chem or its content suppliers and is protected by the various applicable trade dress, copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property and unfair competition laws in the United States and internationally. All rights not expressly granted to you in this TOU are reserved and retained by Ask4Chem or its licensors, suppliers, publishers, rightsholders, or other content providers.

You may not circumvent or attempt to circumvent any limitations imposed on your account including any license, timing or use restrictions that are built into the Services. Impersonating others, sharing passwords or encouraging others to share their passwords, signing up for free trials or previews with different usernames and/or email addresses is strictly prohibited.

06 - Software

Any content that is made available to download from the Services is copyrighted work of Ask4Chem and/or its suppliers. Copying or reproduction of the content to any other server or location for further reproduction or redistribution is expressly prohibited. In no event shall Ask4Chem and/or its respective suppliers be liable for any special, indirect or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever such as delayed or loss of study time or lower grades resulting from the loss of use or data, in connection with the use or performance of software, documents, videos, quizzes, or other information available from the services. This site may occasionally experience outages that will render the web pages or its Services inaccessible. We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The resources delivered to you through our Services are provided “as is” and “as available” for your use, without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied.

As a condition of your use of the Services, you will not use the Services for any purposes that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. The following are the rights of Ask4Chem in regard to the Services and these Terms of Services: We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Services for any reason, without notice at any time. We reserve the right to refuse our services to anyone for any reason at any time. Prices for our Services may change without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or termination of the Service. 

10 - Academic Honesty

Ask4Chem services are provided for the purpose of facilitating learning, and not to encourage or facilitate cheating or any other form of academic dishonesty. You shall not use the site to inquire about, engage in or aid or assist anyone with any form of academic dishonesty. This includes but is not limited to completing or assisting in the completion of assignments or projects, writing lab reports or essays, taking or helping to take quizzes or examinations for another person, or take any action that would violate the academic or conduct policies of a school, university, academic institution or workplace.
