Ask4Chem LLC is a Georgia limited liability company formed to facilitate e–Learning through a web-based platform for college students seeking to skillfully advance their knowledge and understanding of chemistry from the convenience of their homes. We use a learning management system (LMS) owned and managed by Thinkific Labs Inc to create, manage, and deliver learning activities while tracking the learning progress at various stages through assessments. Your personal information reaches Ask4Chem through Thinkific Labs' LMS platform. We encourage you to learn how your information is collected, used, and shared at Thinkific Labs as well by reviewing their Privacy Policy.

Collection

Ask4Chem partners with web-hosting service provider–Thinkific Labs Inc–to host our site and provide an e–Learning platform for enrolled students to interact with, engage with, and/or consume our digital products and services. The software tools provided to us by our web-hosting service providers allow us to track activity of registered users on the site including: 

  • First and Last Name
  • E-mail address
  • State and Zip Code of residence
  • the time enrolled students spend viewing content
  • last date of login
  • courses you are enrolled in
  • quizzes or assignments accessed on the site

Use of Your Information

We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our Sites, in addition to other endorsements. If chosen, we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at [email protected]. 

We use information we receive about you to meet your expectations, give you a great experience with Ask4Chem, and improve our business to better serve you and others in the future. Some examples may include:

  • Personalizing Your Experience. We may identify you or a device on our site to personalize or customize experiences.
  • Response to Inquiries. We may use your information to respond to your inquiries or when you report a problem or concern (regardless of whether you have an account).

  • Credit Card Processors. We use an outside company, "Thinkific Payments", to facilitate payment processing to charge customers for products and services. We do not receive or share your payment information. 
  • In Response to Legal Process. We may disclose the information we collect from you in order to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal process, such as in response to a court order or subpoena. 
  • To Protect Us and Others. We also may disclose the information we collect from you where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our policies, or as evidence in litigation in which Ask4Chem is involved.

International Users

We are located in the United States. Please be aware that information you provide to us or that we obtain through the Site may be collected in your country and subsequently transferred to, maintained, accessed and otherwise processed in the United States or another country by us or our service providers for the purposes mentioned above in accordance with applicable law. The privacy laws of these countries may not always offer the same level of protection as in your country.

Children

Our site is not designed or intended for use by children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems. Please do not sign-up, enroll, or otherwise post any information to this Site if you are under 13. Please note that our discussions forum on the Site allows for the posting of comments. If you are posting any materials to our Site, you may not post any materials discussing, showing, or depicting a child.
